Process:
Initial Review: upon an initial technical assessment of a potential site based on parcel numbers or addresses, if the site appears to be suitable for a solar project, we create a layout and present an initial solar project design. Along with this, a Letter of Intent (LOI) will be presented to the landowner. This document outlines our proposed plan and pricing. In the infrastructure industry, pricing is generally consistent, but there might be slight variations based on location and land conditions. Our design ensures that your land is used efficiently in today’s market.
Preliminary Application: If the landowner accepts our LOI, we will conduct a preliminary application with the relevant utilities, which helps determine the available capacity for the project and, consequently, the actual acreage of the parcel we will lease. Typically, it takes 21 to 30 days to receive the initial study from the utility.
Contract Review: While waiting for the utility’s response, landowners have the opportunity to review the actual contracts in detail.
Finalization and Execution: upon receiving positive indication from the utility, we proceed to finalize and execute the contracts. The acreage may be adjusted based on the study, which may differ from our initial proposal.
