#001 Solar Development Engineers – Remote Opportunities (Freelancer, Part-Time, Full-Time Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments to determine the feasibility of distributed solar projects, including interconnection, permitting, and environmental impact assessment, utilizing a range of database, software, and online resources.
  • Lead economic analysis and feasibility studies for distributed solar generation projects, ensuring the alignment of financial goals and project viability.
  • Utilize industry-standard software like PVSyst to design PV system layouts that adhere to established industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate independent decision-making and project management skills, efficiently handling multiple projects to ensure timely execution and exceptional quality.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals, accurate cost estimates, and technical documentation for new solar projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in solar development.
  • Prior experience in EPC or asset management is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as HOMER, XENDEE, PVSyst, or equivalent tools.
  • Proven track record of autonomously resolving complex challenges and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Basic programming skills, including Python, and familiarity with commonly used AI APIs/Plugins are highly preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely and accommodate US office hours (8am ~ 5pm ET).

#002: Project Finance Analysts – Remote Opportunities (Freelancer, Part-Time, Full-Time Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare valuation models for solar projects.
  • Run model sensitivities to assess pricing and returns.
  • Assist in preparing business plans, investment memorandums, and presentations.
  • Assist other project development tasks, including market research and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in solar development projects or related sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling
  • Familiarity with distributed solar project development processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in project financing, deal structuring, or investment analysis is a plus.
